Hebrew Songs: "The Lords Prayer" In Yahsuah Messiah's Native Language of Hebrew

One of the Hebrew Songs that are featured in this series of songs, is Yahshua's Prayer, commonly known as "The Lord's Prayer"

Luke 11:1-3-"And it came to pass that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John [Yahchanan]also taught his disciples. 2-And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3-Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil."

In the Holy Scriptures Yahshua was described as being a Hebrew Israelite with his lineage traced all the way back to King David. According to the scriptures he was born during the time of the Roman Empire. Greek was one of the prominent languages of the day but the Israelites of that day still spoke in their native tongue of Hebrew.

Yahshua taught in the temple every Shabbat from the Holy Scriptures, which at that time were the law and the writings of the Prophets which were written in Hebrew.

Matthew 26:55- "In that same hour said Yahshua to the multitudes, Are you come out as against a thief with swords and clubs to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me."

Yahshua even after his resurrection when he called Paul (Shaul) he spoke to him in his native tongue Hebrew.

Acts 26:14-15-"And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest me? It is hard for thee to kick against the goads, 15- and I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said I am Yahshua, whom thou persecutest."
